Would you like to help out with the coordination group for the coaches' network?

The Norwegian Esports Federation is working to establish a coordination group for the coaches' network.

The Coaches' Network will continue to be an open professional community for coaches in Norwegian esports, including through NESF's Discord. The coordination group will serve as an active core that helps keep the network's development and activities moving forward.

What will the group contribute?

Among other things, the coordination group shall be able to:

  • serve as resource persons for other coaches and contribute by providing professional guidance and sharing experiences
  • organize new coaching workshops, digital meetings, and other professional development activities
  • contribute to the planning and coordination of such activities in collaboration with NESF
  • provide advice and input to NESF on coach development in Norwegian esports
  • contribute to the further development of NESF's coach education program and other resources for coaches
  • highlight the needs, challenges, and positive experiences of everyday coaching

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for coaches who want to actively contribute to the development of the coaching community in Norwegian esports.

Extensive coaching experience or specific coaching credentials are not required. We are looking for a group with diverse experience, backgrounds, geographic origins, connections to the sport, and perspectives.

The most important thing is that you:

  • wants to contribute to the development of other coaches and the coaching community as a whole
  • is able to attend some meetings and contribute between meetings as needed
  • wants to share experiences and collaborate with coaches from other settings
  • is interested in contributing to specific activities or development work

We are initially envisioning a group of about 6–8 people. If more people express interest, NESF will put the group together based on motivation, capacity, experience, and the desire for a broad and diverse composition.

This is not a ranking of coaches' professional competence. Anyone who wishes to contribute will still be able to remain active in the coaching network and be invited to participate in relevant activities and working groups.
